After spending nearly 2 decades working in television news covering stories around the world, Sharon knows how to tell your company's story and more importantly how to get it covered by the press. Sharon began her marketing career as a consultant in 2011, since then she has assisted many multimillion dollar brands, nonprofits and startups, Sharon knows what truly drives conversions, traffic to your website and engagement on your social media pages —and it’s not mastering the marketing flavor of the week. It’s how well you connect with the heart-beating people you’re trying to help and communicate your story and understanding back to them.
Sharon has landed coverage in print and broadcast outlets around the world, including NBC Nightly News, The Washington Post, local news affiliates and international blogs. In addition to her extensive PR and marketing experience, Sharon is a trained media coach.
Sharon holds a BA in communications as well as MS's in management of marketing and management of public relations from the University of Maryland.
